After consistently reading from Goonerdaily, the idea of a blog was birthed. It was to materialize in September in 2012. With limited internet services an ever longing to have a different view from what everyone thinks or view, i took the bold step to create a blog and WordPress was my first and only choice – may be Goonerdaily helped my bias.
So on a Friday morning in September 2012, I gave my self a birthday present two days earlier. I love to write on various topics as far as it concerns life. Football was and is a major part of my discussions in high school apart from some philosophical arguments and deductions. So SoccerGunz was launched to take care of my footballing thoughts. I support Arsenal and Nigeria Football. You can peruse through the site for more info.
I surely had to launch another blog that was non-football, a blog about life in general – AmosCP’s Blog. I blog about my personal experiences – High school and College, my belief, Jesus Christ, Politics, Education, and anything that can add value to an average life.
My first real blog post was on SoccerGunz: “Arsenal Tears Southampton into 6” in September 17, 2012. You can have a read and see how far i have come. On AmosCP’s Blog, “Triple Filter Test” was my real first in September 24. With 363 post on SoccerGunz and 64690 views, I still have a long way to go. On AmosCP’s Blog, I have published 97 posts with 5406 views.
I have not won any blogging awards but I do love to write. I also write as an Enyimba Fan for ThatEnyimbaFan; I try my prediction skills on the Nigeria Premier League which I share with SupportTheNPFL. My only limitation is that I have to do some design for a servicing company to make ends meet and service my pockets to pay the bills. The pressure is much from the office and it affects the number of articles I can turn out.
3 years gone and many more to come. I can’t stop writing. I can’t stop taking another view from another perspective. A different perspective will do.
Get a blog, or write for one. It is fun.
